FUNGAL SEROLOGY

Microgen FSK is a comprehensive range of tests for the serological diagnosis of fungal infections and hypersensitivity lung disease.

Tests are standard double gel diffusion tests (precipitin) which may be adapted to immunoelectrophoresis using established techniques.

Products include:

•FSK1 – Aspergillus: for the diagnosis of invasive and allergic aspergillosis.

•FSK 3 – M.faeni: for the serological detection of Micropolyspora faeni, the causative agent of “Farmers Lung”.

Each kit contains standardized antigen at 2 concentrations, positive and negative controls and reporting cards (20 tests)

• FSK 4 – Avain Allergens: the detection of hypersensitivity caused by the inhalation of bird related antigens, in particular bird faeces.

•FSK 3 -DPP: Double diffusion plates for use with the FSK1, FSK2, FSK3 and FSK4.
